This math course is specially designed for students in grades 6-8th grade who find themselves breezing through school math and thirst for a more interesting challenge. Whether you are passionate about math challenge or simply curious about math competition, we encourage your participation. Sign up today to join our online math course and embark on a stimulating adventure that will lead you to the world of competitive math.
Instructors: this course will be taught by two passionate high school students who love mathematics as well as teaching. They also bring rich experiences gained through their outstanding performance in various math competitions such as the AMC (American Mathematics Competitions) and AIME (American Invitational Mathematics Examination), COMC (Canadian Open Mathematical Challenge). Through their previous summer math workshop, they have gained the remarkable ability to make complex concepts easy to understand and exciting.
Beginner lever for math competition AMC, age group from 6th to 8th grade. This section covers Algebra, Number Theory, Geometry and Combination/Probability for foundational competitive math.
Class is taken with ZOOM and starting from September 29 for 12-lesson package.
Class time 5:00-6:00 PM, every Friday PST.
Students will receive class information/confirmation through the email address which they provide at registration.
Homework will be provided after each lesson and teacher’s comments to be provided before the next lesson via Google Classroom.
